Primrose Pinwheel
Paper: Gumball Green, Rose Red Designer Series Paper, Soft
Suede, Whisper White (scraps & inside)
Ink: Primrose Petals, Gumball Green
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Build a Blossom
Accessories: Glimmer brads, Blossom Petals Builder punch, hole
punch, paper snips,
Card: Fold the
sheet of Gumball Green cardstock in half to make card base.
Using paper snips cut “grass” every 1/8” to ¼" along
the bottom of the card front.
Adhere Soft Suede cardstock “flower stem” strip in center
starting from the grass line.
On scratch Whisper White paper, stamp two Leaves and punch
using Blossom Petals Builder punch
Stamp near bottom of
scrap, stamp one then punch, second then punch
Adhere leaves to flower stem
Stamp “just for you” or other teeny message on white scrap
then run through Big Shot using
Adhere message to bottom right of the card
Pinwheel: With
desired pattern side up, fold Rose Red DSP square in half (corner to corner)
Then fold in ½ the other way (should have 4 triangle quadrants when done)
Use pen or marker to mark center spot (will be easy to see later & ultimately hidden by brad)
Cut along folded lines until about 1/2” in from center
Punch a hole in every other corner (1 punch per triangle- so pick all lefts or all rights) and center
by carefully bringing the hole punch along a cut line
Gather all 4 corners together by going around in a circle
and pulling each toward center adding under each other to layer through Glimmer
brad (will demo for you if questions)
Push brad down through center hole & secure in back
Adhere
pinwheel to card front- if you plan to mail, ensure pinwheel fits inside shape
of cardstock
mine does not as I
plan to give in person)
